Dark blue end-papers. half-title with large central African Society logo + f/piece photo + t.p. with small central cartouche as front cover + 70 pp. inc. prelims, 18 further ills up to p.32, mostly photos, 7 being full page plates, several full page gallery maps plus faux antique 'strip cartoons' along bottom first page of each of the 7 Sections (these devoted to each of the galleries described therein). All edges gilt. Sir Henry obviously spared no expense with this. Have added a film-fronted protective sleeve. Virtually perfect copy of this apparently scarce item. 15.5 cm x 22.5 cm.
