Encuadernación de tapa dura. Condición: Nuevo. Gorey, Edward Ilustrador.

Hardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. Hardcover with DJ. Black illustrated boards with matching DJ. Boards are clean and tight, with only a faint bit of foxing to front cover. DJ has some shelf-wear along edges and is fairly foxed, though it's protected covers well. Title page not dated. Copyright page dated 1980, a stated "First Printing" and 1980 reissue. Includes the satirical limited edition statement that is present in all copies. Pages are free of marks or tears. Binding is strong. A good, clean copy of the hardcover reissue. This is just one item from a strange, growing, possibly even contagious collection of the works of Edward Gorey. Please get in touch if you'd like photos or have other inquiries.

Hardcover. Condición: Fine. First edition thus. First edition thus, firts printing, letter line beginning with "A". 5 1/2" x 6" in three-color illustrated boards. A fine, fresh, apparently unused example ; issued without dust jacket. Unpaginated (60 pp.). Collection of drawings by Edward Gorey who published this work under an anagram of his name. It first appeared in 1961(an almost unobtainable edition) where it was subtitled a "pornographic illustrated history about furniture." ; despite the title there is nothing overtly sexual in the darwings. Gorey instead used innuendo and strategically placed objects like urns, tree branches, robes, etc.

First edition. Wrappers. Second issue with increased price sticker. Every copy of this edition has the statement that it is no. 83 of 200 copies. This statement is meant to be taken tongue-in-cheek, in the spirit of Victorian under-the-table pornographic productions that similarly purported to be limited editions. Good copy, well used, rubbed, few page tips crimped.
