Hardcover. Text by Edmundo Baez. Prologue by Jose Revueltas. Translation by Magdalena Saldana. 4to. Glazed pictorial paper over boards, heavy mylar wrapper (as issued). Ten full-page color plates, marbled endpapers. Near fine/very good. Slight wear and toning to original mylar. First edition of this artist's collection with creative interpretive text in both Spanish and English, a limited edition numbered (this #251) and signed by the artist on the title page. Interestingly, a second near-identical title page gives the main title in English -- "children are here" -- but offers no translation of the subtitle -- "Enameled Over Copper." An unusual piece. Though not so marked, this comes from the collection of noted Midwest photographer Archie Lieberman (1926-2008) of "Farm Boy" fame.
