Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Near Fine. An apparent First English Edition, having been translated from the original French by Peggy Rowell Oberson. A stellar exemplar of a massively heavy, oversized volume in folio--sized format, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear; not ex-library, with neither underlining nor highlighting anywhere. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, protected by a plastic coat, dust jacket not being price-clipped, but crimped diagononally of front flap, and with a short tape-repaired, now closed tear at rear bottom. Housed in a Near Fine condition cardboard slipcase, bright red, scuffed a little bit at the tips, with International Book Society stamped in gilt on the front cover. Preface by the editor, Joseph Jobe, and then chapters on Gothic Tapestry, Classical Tapestry, Contemporary Tapestry and the Weaver's Art, but each of the four authors in order, respectively. 278 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
