Contemporary half calf, red morocco label on spine with gilt lettering, spine gilt with raised bands, corners, red sprinkled edges, slight damage to foot of spine. Kress 7202; Goldsmiths 11455; Stourm 85; cf.: INED 1195; cf.: Einaudi 1290. One of three editions published in the same year: there is copy published 'A la Chancellerie' (Goldsmiths 11453) and the copy listed by Einaudi under 1290 and in Kress under 7204, both listing a copy of 328 pages and without mention of a publisher, and the present copy, published by Adamson. Apocryph memoirs, aiming to demonstrate the bad management of Terrai.Divided into three parts. The second part is entitled: 'Relation historique de l'émeute arrivée à Paris le 3 Mai 1775, et de ce qui l'a précédé et suivi' and the third part is entitled: 'Lettres d'un actionnaire à un autre actionnaire, contenant la Relation de ce qui s'est passée dans les dernières Assemblées de la Compagnie des Indes.' - Copy from the Bibliothèque de M.
