2 lettres autographes signées 8 In-8 mai 1950 bavures d'encre sur une lettre Dans ces deux belles lettres, l'écrivain arménien Archag Tchobanian remercie le Vice-Président de la Société des Gens de Lettres pour son bel hommage rendu lors de son jubilé : « Le noble discours que avez lu à la fête de mon jubilé célébrée dans le grand amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne m'a profondément touché et il a fait grand plaisir à mes compatriotes qui ont assisté à cette fête. [.] Je vous envoie [.] un exemplaire de mon livre intitulé Victor Hugo, Châteaubriand et Lamartine dans la littérature arménienne [.]. Ce volume vous montrera encore une fois combien les maîtres de la littérature française ont été compris et aimés par le peuple arménien. » Écrivain, poète, traducteur arménien, il fuit les persécutions turques et s'installe à Paris, où il oeuvre pour la connaissance et la diffusion de la littérature arménienne en France.
