First Edition. Front hinge cracked; very good in a good to very good dust jacket with wear and tear; in a custom clamshell box. An important volume; animator Robert 'Tiger' West's copy. A holograph note, signed by West as 'Tiger' is laid in, describing how he drew for the film, purchasing this copy at Disney Studios and noting 'it is enhanced by personal drawings made by many great animator directors of that era.' There are several inscriptions and over twenty drawings (most in color) by those who worked on the film, the best known of whom is probably Ward Kimball. West, who passed away in 2006, enjoyed a long career in animation, particularly with his involvement in Xerox cartoon processing. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
