Portrait of the author and a biographical sketch written by P Linet. Color 'title page' at rear of volume for "Charming Miss Fogarthy, A Story of the Danish West Indies." A very scarce title. Ownership signature of "A. L. Royce / St. Thomas / May 4, 1892" at front endpaper. Royce is believed to have been a chaplain on the island. Very Good firmly bound volume, expected fading to cloth at spine and edges.
