Libro Original o primera edición Ejemplar firmado
Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Western Islands. Belmont, MA. 1968. 331 pages. First edition, first printing. Signed by author and former Foreign Minister of Romania, Prince Michel Sturdza. Signed without inscription on front free endpaper. Book is about fine with one minor push to rear corner tip (barely) otherwise fine. Original DJ is VG with $6.95 price intact on flap. Uncommon DJ shows shelf-rubbing along edges with one small chip on upper rear corner and one tiny chip on heel. A complex historical figure, Prince Michel Sturdza reflects on Romania, Europe, World Leaders, WWII and much more. As the former Foreign Minister of Romania and member of Romania's most powerful family, Prince Michel Sturdza is largely remembered for his role in the Iron Guard's Legionnaire Movement. This memoir was written while its author was in exile. An uncommon first edition, first printing in DJ; most rare signed. Laid-in is an uncommon 24 page hit piece associating the former King as a Wall Street player, and "Nazi Friend." Near fine/VG. Signed by Author(s).
