Condición: Fair. 1933. First Edition. 307 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with red lettering to front board and spine. Contains black and white photographs throughout. Book has a slight smoky odour. Pages are lightly tanned and moderately foxed, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Gutters are slightly cracked with binding exposed. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a mild forward lean and bow. Water drops on all surfaces.

The book shows a near complete photographic history from the bloody assassination of Archduke Ferdinand through the gathering of enthusiast civilians signing up to the tragic pictures of the dead and dying and the eventual capitulation of the Kaiser.
