INSCRIBED to Phil and Sharon McBlain by Nick and also SIGNED on title-page by Nicolas and Elizabeth Clinch. This work originally appeared in the May, 1896 issue of The Geographical Journal. The Littledales got within 49 miles of Lhasa in 1895 before they were turned back by armed Tibetans.

A well presented collection honouring these intrepid little-known travellers.
