Burrow, Concerning the Men and Events, Social Life, Industrial, Interests, physical Development, and Commercial Progress of Davenport and Scott County, During the Period From 1938 to 1888." More than half of Spencer's narrative concerns the Blackhawk War in which he served. No ownership marks. The binding is an even red color. No spots. Moreover, the gilt logo, lettering and bands are clear and bright. Attractive. Very nice condition.
