Librería: About Books, Henderson, NV, Estados Unidos de America
Hardcover. Condición: Very Good condition. Edition not stated, but circa 1870. Philadelphia:: Presbyterian Board of Publication, 1870. 4" wide by 6" tall. A square, tight copy. Bound in the original tan cloth. Wear to corners but still quite a pretty little copy. Previous owner's name. Inner hinges are perfect. Appears to be volume 1 only (of 2) since a "I" appears on the spine, and because we have seen other copies described as having over 400 pages. Handsome blind-stamped design on both front and rear cover, states "Presbyterian Board of Publication, Series for Youth" within an oval, surrounded by an elaborate embossed geometric pattern. Gilt spine lettering and ornaments are still bright and shiny. Yellow endpapers. No date of publication or copyright indicated. Cited year, 1870, is estmate based on "Dec 28, 70" inked on front free endpaper. Frontispiece caption reads: "A powerful Dragoon approaching cautiously, came behind McMichael, and with one stroke of his ponderous blade clave his head in two.". Edition not stated, but circa 1870. Hard Cover. Very Good condition. iv, 216pp. .

Having been made aware of the fact, therefore, his object was to collect and arrange them in the best manner he could, and then to publish them in a serial form' [in 3 series, by 1843] Good dull blue cloth.
