Original Wraps. Condición: Fine. No Jacket. First Edition. This is a fine, almost new copy of a brief biography of one of the greatest Indian chiefs. Tecumseh very nearly succeeded in unifying the Indians in opposing American expansion west of the Allegheny mountains. He was appointed a general by the British and was killed on October 5, 1813. He was buried alongside a creek some five miles away from the site of the battle and when members of his tribe returned to take his body home, they discovered that flood waters had removed any signs of the burial site. 14 pages, 8 vo brown heavy paper wraps. A Beautiful Copy.
