This copy was presented to Regina College and included in the Fine Arts Library collection. There is a withdrawn stamp on the front pastedown and the final blank page, a library stamp on the title page, bottom corner of plate 19 (on the border, not the picture), and the verso of plate 38. Pocket on rear pastedown. Library stamp on top edge of text block. Faint adhesive ghost of external labels cleanly removed from upper back board and lower spine.

Horatio Walker RI, RCA, LL.D. ( 1858 - 1938 ) was born in Ontario and after marriage settled on the Isle d'Orleans in the St. Lawrence River; Walker also had spent time in New York State and was influenced by the painters of the Barbizon school.
