/Oscar Pletsch, illustrator. Ilustrador. CONDITION: Poor; no names or other marks. The book has been professionally, but not very skillfully, rebacked, so that both boards and an early note on edition in the inside back are preserved. All the prints are in lovely, sharp, clean condition, with no creases or foxing. Unfortunately the bookbinder also preserved a 0.5 cm currently inactive mold-stained strip in the gutter, so we cannot sell this as a book, only as a "breaker" (not our practice). A 1.5 cm clean margin remains surrounding the ruling. so that these wonderful prints could be trimmed, then assembled in a portfolio or framed. Price reflects labor involved. German language hardback medium Twenty two very charming and detailed woodcuts of little children in adult workplaces, looking on and even helping: Tailor, woodworker, doctor, etc. Each illustration contains a 4 line verse in Fraktur and a double ruling around picture and verse. ABE Heritage Seller, since 1996: Search ABE Keyword: oldchildrensbooks. Conservative AB condition grading, secure packing, international shipping. /Oscar Pletsch, illustrator.

Manuscrito
3½ SS. auf Doppelblatt. Gr.-8vo.
