Tully was surveyed in the mid-1920s and Cardwell Shire named the streets to honour the servicemen and women from the shire who served in the war of 1914-18 as a lasting memorial. Later streets were also named for ex-servicemen- many of whom paid the ultimate price. This book relates the stories of the poeple and families honoured through Tully's street names, and also provides a look at the surveys, land sales and photographic portrayals of the early town. Size: 4to.
