Condición: Fair. No Edition Remarks. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Illustrative paper covered boards with grey cloth to spine. Contains black and white illustrations and colour plates throughout. Prize plate stuck to front free endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Thumb-marking present. Front free endpaper and frontispiece are torn and slightly loose but still attached. Noticeable creasing to gutter. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to rear board. Scuffing to boards. Marks and scratches overall. Textblock is shaky.

Spine and covers slightly grubby with small patch surface paper damage in title. Presentation inscription and small bookseller's stamp to front pastedown. Browning to endpapers. Text pages clean. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
