Testo inquadrato dal commento con alcuni passi in greco. L'opera contiene 61 xilografie (cm.8,7 x 6) realizzate con i legni dell'edizione del 1513 (ESSLING I 229, SANDER 5319). Questi legni sono esattamente riprodotti a pag 232 del 1° vol. di Essling.Bella edizione assolutamente rara, manca a Choix, Adams, Bm. Stc. Alcuni aloni al margine per lo più all'inizio e in fine altrimenti esemplare bello e genuino. Al frontis una annotazione coeva, manoscritta: "fece comprare.nella fiera di Fuligno 1568) Alla sguardia ex libris nobiliare. UNICA CITAZIONE BIBLIOGRAFICA: GRAESSE V 76.[f35].
