Content includes fine coverage of the goldmining days which were numbered by the 1920s. Thames did not become a ghost town and the book describes the many civic, cultural, educational. sporting, religious and industrial organisation that kept Thames alive and prosperous. Scarce. 176 pages, b/w photos throughout, advertisements from local institutions included in the pagination count. Slight and unobtrusive erosion to front pictorial cover, text block VG+.
