Condición: Fair. 1937. First Edition. 144 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with a photographic black and white frontis and plates throughout. Heavy foxing and tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pen and pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and major foxing to text block edges. Rear hinge is cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Binding is loose. Boards have major edge wear and rubbing with visible bumping to corners. Distinctive crushing to spine ends and splitting to joints. Heavy rubbing to spine.

Hard Cover. Dust Jacket Included. First Edition. Issued for the coronation of George VI in 1937, a history of Westminster Abbey and the coronation ceremony. Very good+ in a very good dust jacket. The book has faint evidence of an erasure on two internal pages, and very slight shelfwear. The jacket has chips at both spine ends, one tape repair at the bottom of the spine, and slight loss at the top of the rear panel. Many illustrations, bibliography, and an index; 148 pages.
