Condición: Fair. 1899. No Edition Remarks. 479 pages. Half bound red leather with marbled paper covered boards. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Binding is shaky. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Soft crushing to spine ends. Leather peeling to spine and corners, with noticeable scuffing and scratches overall. Price sticker to front board. Book is notably forward leaning.

Considerable wear to the brown cloth boards of all volumes, Some minor damage and loss to the tops of the spines of Volumes I, II, IV, and V; more considerable damage and loss to the top of the spine of Volume III. Interiors are uniformly clean and unmarked. Bindings are solid and tight for Volumes II, IV, and V. Hinges visible in places in Volumes I and III. Frontis of Volume I and title page of Volume III are beginning to come a bit loose, but are still attached. Due to the size and weight of this set, additional shipping charges will be required.
