Frontispiece is a photograph titled "The Foundations of States are laid upon the Graves of Pioneers." Pages are clean; black and white photographs throughout.

Decorative Cloth. Condición: Fine. No Jacket. This is "Intimate glimpses into the past and present of 275 Western Ghosttowns". It is the first edition of 1956, sixth printing. It contains 253 indexed pages, followed by a Ghosttown Directory for the states of Nevada, Utah, and California. There are many b/w photos and some hand-drawn maps throughout. The condition is fine. The pages are free of all marks, tears and folds. There are no signatures. The beige cloth cover has a beautiful sketch in dark brown of mountains and a brick ruin. The cover has no soiling or signs of wear. The corners are sharp and the binding is tight.
