Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: No Dust Jacket. Preliminary. GOOD / NO DUST JACKET. 145 + [18] pages. As a Preliminary Edition, this volume provides an early example of a book in the marked up "proof" stage: it contains mark-up and penciled notes all the way through. A typed note inserted at the front explains: "This book from Ginn and Company, August, 1938. 'Our Editorial Reader has checked the book and has made some red-tipped arrows to indicate points which are contrary to our style and not acceptable from our point of view. Other arrows indicate variations from our style which cannot be found fault with simply because we do not follow the style indicated.' " Except for a previous owner's book label inside the front cover, there are no markings in the book except for the proofreader's. Boards covers in darkish green cloth, gilt titling on spine. Corners, edges, top and tail of spine are worn to the tan of the fabric beneath the color. Corners only slightly bumped, top and tail of spine still intact, not bumped. Binding solid, overall good condition.
