Hardcover. Condición: NF. Estado de la sobrecubierta: NF. Grant Sheehan Ilustrador. 1st. Sub-titled "Notable Historic Buildings of New Zealand" this also "notabe" book features the photographs of Grant Sheenan, with David MacGill's descriptive text in excellent collaboration. The buildings range from ancient preserved Maori structures, through the range of post-European settlement in dwellings, commercial and retail premises, industrial and engineering sites, churches, hotels, country mansions, monuments and memorials, art deco styles and public amenities. While most have historic significance, others have a more contemporary interest. Coverage is arranged for North Island and South Island. This is a beautiful book in both content and production standards, which was published with the support of the NZ Historic Places Trust. First edition of 1997, 256 pages including notes on architercts, references and index, Sheehan's excellent colour photographs throughout, mainly a single image, occasionally two. Brown hard covers with silver spine titles NF, ditto the text block, no inscriptions. Colour pictorial DJ also NF. This large and heavy book ( 35cm by 25.5cm and almost 2.2 kgs unpacked), will almost certainly require additional postage. Contact vendor for accurate costings.
