Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and heavier tanning to text block edges. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Binding is loose. Boards have visible rubbing, sunning and edge wear with heavy bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and distinctive sunning to spine.

THE BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean and very bright. The corners are sharp. The pages are very clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are slightly toned and show occasional flecking. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There is a neat gift inscription on the ffep.
