[Typed Letter Signed] on University of Victoria, Department of History stationary to Philip [Hofer] from [and signed] "Toby" that begins "I am enclosing with this note a copy of a little book that a colleague of mine and I did to honour our retiring chancellor. I think that it is a nice example of the arts of the typographer - the contents were responsibilities of the various authors - and I would hope that you might be inclined to add this opus to your collection". "In this study of agriculture we have attempted to determine and describe the way in which the agricultural industry in Canada will develop during the next 25 years. The report on the study falls into four parts. Part I deals with the changing structure of the agricultural industry. In Part II we include a number of studies which are designed to bring out regional differences. Part III is concerned with marketing and farm incomes.
