Hardcover. Condición: Fair. Hardcover. Navy blue cloth over boards with gold stamping on spine. Title and copyright pages dated 1952. 242 pages. In fair condition. Bottom edges of covers are stained from water damage, staining upwards about two inches. Some bumping at head and foot of spine, as well as corners. Pages are a bit stiff and wrinkled from water damage, with light tidelines along bottom half of pages. SIGNED and inscribed to Rep. Edna Kelly on front free endpaper by author Louis Budenz. This volume comes from the collection of Edna Kelly (1906-1997), Democratic member of the US House of Representatives from NY from 1949-1969. She was one of only ten women in Congress when she was elected in 1949, and introduced a bill for Equal Pay for Equal Work in 1951, considered the first Equal Pay (for women) bill. Though book is water damaged, text remains in good reading condition and has been signed by the author. This volume was owned by an interesting and accomplished woman, and is in fair condition overall. Signed by Author(s).

Dust jacket has a one inch triangular piece missing from back near spine - all text intact. Very clean. Fine/VG.
