Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. First edition. Facsimile of the original 1851 diary including the illustrations with a transcript. Introduction by Warder H. Cadbury. Quarto. Green cloth with printed white label mounted on front board. Scattered foxing on pages, paperclip impression on topedge of preliminary pages, faint stain on topedge on rear board, else a very good copy being George and Jean Houser's copy with their names inked (in an unknown hand) on title page. George Houser was a Civil Rights Activist. Additionally, a small printed card with Mr. Harold K. Hochschild's name printed on it and it was paperclipped but it is now laid in. Hothschild was the founder of the Adirondack Museum. One of one thousand copies printed.
