Three-quarter tan leather over marbled boards, marbled endpapers, 324pp. Tissue-portected frontis and steel-engravings in text. This is volume II only of a two volume set on Pompeii which was published in 1831. Pompeii was rediscovered in the mid 18th century. (1.3 JM HOQ 101/a5 Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
