Translated to English from the original French. An elaborate engraved border to title page, based on the work of Albrecht Durer. A fair book with lightly bumped corners and slightly erose spine tips. Slight dampstaining to front pastedown and free endpage. Spine broken. Pages 121-130 loose, with the date 1872 written lightly in pencil to top gutter edge of page 120. Rear free endpage lacking.
