Aðalstein Kristjánsson, emigrated from Iceland to Canada in1901, followed by his widowed mother and siblings in 1906. They took a homestead at Mozart, Sask. in 1906, but he returned to Winnipeg and became a very successful building contractor in partnership with his brother Friðrik. He suffered ill health in later years and passed to his reward in Hollywood. Along the way he managed to write several books in both Icelandic and English. Herein are journaled some of the author s adventures, philosophes and so fourth In exceptionally good condition.
