Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. A red hardcover with gilt titles on front and spine. Sun-fading to spine. Corners square, minimal shelf-wear except to top of spine and bottom front corner, where the cloth has worn thin. Some foxing to page edges, pages no longer white as new but aged as expected for 1945. No jacket. Prev. owner's name on ffep. A small chip out of frontispiece page. From Introduction: "This book was prepared to meet the needs 1) of advanced students in the Greek Orthodox parochial schools and of those who study modern Greek in secondary school or colleges; 2) of young people who have studied the elements of Greek in parochial schools and wish to learn the language thoroughly; 3) of mature beginners and of others who are interested in Greek studies."
