Hardcover. Condición: Fair. No Jacket. 5th or later Edition. R.R. McCabe & Company, Chicago, IL. c1890/Not Dated. Hardcover. Stated 13th Edition (probably of The Finest of the Wheat No. 1). Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Fair +; wear to all edges of the paper covered boards; rubbing and small water spots on the boards; spine cloth is worn especially at the rear gutter. No DJ. Pictorial boards with cloth covered spine with dark brown pictorial and lettered boards. Clean internals. Interior hinges split through paper on the front but still held and sound on the rear. 216 pp 8vo. This book is the successor of Winnowed Hymns. Many of the pieces are the very latest productions of the authors. The selections have been made under the watchful supervision of the authors themselves and the leaders of sacred song associated with them. In Camp Meetings, Social Meetings, Missionary Meetings and Conventions, and Sabbath Schools they have noted the pieces that have in them the "swing of conquest" and have garnered into this book their favorites. A clean presentable copy of original "old school" religious favorites.
