From the Preface: "This study is presented for the purpose of clarifying and adding to the analyses which began in 1939. The results of earlier work were published in 1942. At this time the researches were somewhat hampered by the lack of precedent as to method. Some progress was made, but obviously, and perforce, much was left undone. Therefore, when a nearby deep excavation in the Back Bay region was opened for the purpose of constructing a building for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company, we seized the opportunity to continue the work. Here we have the pleasure presenting a considerable quantity of new data." Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 4 lbs 3 oz. Category: Archaeology; Geology; Books; Science & Technology. [Bound in Stiff Cardboard]. Condición: Very good. A Very Good copy of issues of Hampton's Magazine for 1911 in the stiff cardboard wrappers with the front cover of the June 11, 1911 issue laid down on the front wrapper, the front cover of the March, 1911 issue laid down on the rear wrapper, and the magazine name laid down on the spine. [We speculate that this arrangement mimics the annual publication issued by the Publisher. The Volume contains the issues for 1911 from and including the January,1911 through an including the issue for June, 1911 (without the original wrappers other than as noted above). A Very Good copy. [Informational Note: Hampton's Magazine was preceded by Broadway Magazine (1898-1907) and 'New Broadway Magazine' (1907-1908). That series became 'Hampton's Broadway Magazine' in 1908, which shortened to 'Hampton's Magazine' in 1909. Hampton's Magazine merged with Columbian magazine in 1911, published as the Hampton-Columbian magazine from October 1911 to January 1912, before being renamed The Hampton Magazine. It ceased with the May 1912 issue.].
