Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. VG book in poor dj and slipcase. Limp leather covers with yapped edges are blindstamped with an ornate knot design front, rear and spine. Bright gilt lettering on front and spine. Bottom of spine is darkened and has a small tear. There's also a dark spot at top rear. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. There is an owner bookplate at front and a handwritten quote in pencil on a rear blank page. No stains or tears, except for an occasional roughly cut opening. Pages are bright. Each chapter has an orange top border and all leading initials are in orange. The book is of superb workmanship. The very scarce dust jacket is tattered and torn into two pieces with old tape at edges. A large portion of spine is missing. The equally scarce slip case is missing bottom and split at top. It's worn at edges and its spine is sunned. A collection of quotes quotes from notable Americans: 1.Benjamin Franklin 2.Thomas Jefferson 3.Thomas Paine 4.Abraham Lincoln 5.Walt Whitman 6.Robert Ingersoll 7.Ralph Waldo Emerson 8.Elbert Hubbard.
