Contains xiii, [3], 222 printed pages of text with tissue-guarded frontispiece portrait of Yeats at the age of 23, from a portrait by H. M. Paget. Fine condition book in Very Good condition dust wrapper with slither of paper missing to the top front gutter, not price clipped, $2.50. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection, it does not adhere to the book or to the dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A. IRELAND (Éire).

As for the book, the copyright page is blank. The title page is standard (this was after the C5 title listing in the Fall of 1918). in the Boni and Liveright dust jacket. Brown Leather FRONT CVR says Modern Library with BL for Boni Liveright, The book is VG+ in a nice tight binding with LITE toning. The all important DJ, which dates to 1920 (no 1921 titles are listed and not all of the 1920 titles are listed) also is VG, and in a lot better shape than most jackets from this era. There is a chip on the upper left of the back panel and some minor creasing. There are some small tape remnants on the inside of the jacket. The spine of this DJ is really nice. This is a very rare Modern Library first of this literature classic. The title listings are on the front and back flaps and the back panel. The BL logo Modern Library is on the lower spine, above the ninety-five cents net price.
