Orange Cloth. Condición: Fine-. Estado de la sobrecubierta: VG(-). Reprint of 1968 revised ed. (1st-1951). xlviii+615, 13 ills on 4 leaves ex-pagination; slight brown flecking to textblock fore-edge and faint dustiness to top same are only obvious faults, covers being clean, bright & unworn and entirely unmarked internally; unclipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired would be VG or better but for some crumpling to lower front edge towards spine and touch of dustiness to front fore-edge, otherwise appears to be clean bar tiny mark very top spine and virtually unworn. This classic study appears to be bibliographically quite complex, a revised Anchor Books edition appearing in 1968 with Mead's Preface and a new Introduction by author explaining changes (which were actually fairly minimal bar expansion of one chapter), New York Universities Press seem to have reissued this 1968 edition the following year - but copyright passed to Doubleday. Despite all this it remains exceptionally scarce and this is clearly prefered edition over 1951 1st for academic purposes. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. Size: 16 Cms x 24 Cms.
