Complete set of 19 volumes collecting color Tarzan Sunday newspaper comic strips from 1931 to 1950. The earliest Rex Maxon strips are NOT included, though mentioned in the introductions, which also recount the polling & decisionmaking process involved to include the Rubimor strips, which are here reproduced only in black-and-white as volume 15B - the publishers, knowing that a large part of their market was European collectors primarily interested in the work of Foster and Hogarth, hesitated to include Moreira's pages, but did so at the urging of mostly American Burroughs fans. Hardcovers in jacket, as pictured. Volume one is a stated second printing; the others are first printings, listing no later printings, published from 1993-1997.
