Condición: Good. 1928. 224 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pen inscription to half title page. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with moderate staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Joints are heavily split and frayed exposing netting. Spine has noticeable tanning with slight fraying and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.

The binding is rather worn and spotted with silverfishing or some other pest, and there is a 2 inch split in the cloth on the front hinge. Prior owner's information scraped off the front pastedown. The decorative endpapers are foxed, as are some of the plates. The text is printed on "antiqued" paper made to look old but comes across looking spotted. A reading or reference copy.
