Hardcover. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fine. First edition. Octavo. 228pp. Fine in fine dust jacket. A seemingly deeply personal vanity press novel by a nurse from New Jersey, about a light-skinned African-American girl, passing as white. The author photo depicts a blonde, light-skinned woman. We admit that we are not proficient at determining gradients of race from an author photo, and Ms. Healy's race is unclear. A near match on the Ancestry website seems to indicate that she may be Caucasian. In any event scarce. *OCLC* lists eight copies.
