There is a bit of underlining on some pages and a few notes written in the margins and at the bottom blank area of a few pages. There are 272 illustrations. A few minor smudges to the outside covers else book is CLEAN, COMPLETE, AND TIGHT. Although not signed, this book came from the personal collection of Dr. Tim A. Miller (Plastic and reconstructive) AT THE U.C.L.A. SCHOOL OF MEDICINE who has 58 years of experience. NOTE: Dr. Miller received the Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. He also co-founded and was chief reconstructive surgeon, and executive director for Operation Mend. Founded in 2007, Operation mend is a program that provides reconstructive surgery services as well as other medical and psychological counseling services at no cost to severely wounded and disfigured veterans of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. The preface to this second edition mentions the Korean Conflict and the fact that this "text in this edition has been thoroughly reworked and more abundantly supported by references to literature".
