Published in England under the title "Loose End" in 1937. This edition not dated but presumably the first American edition of the same year. A scrace title in either edition. No name, no book-plate, etc, pages clean and firmly attached, cloth lightly age toned. A good reading copy.

Boards have visible foxing and sunning with noticeable bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and heavier foxing and sunning to spine. Unclipped jacket with major edge wear and visible rubbing. Moderate sunning to spine and splitting to joints. There is visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends and foxing to interior.
