From 1930-1936 he served as Legal Secretary to the Government of the Sudan, after which he retired, and was created KBE in the following year. During WWII he served as Assistant Legal Advisor to the Home Office. Sir Humphrey Bell died in Hampshire in 1959. AN OUTSTANDING ASSOCIATION COPY.
