Former owner's name label on inside front cover, gift inscription dated 1884 on second blank page. Pages unmarked, surprisingly modest wear for a book of this age. Gilt lettering on spine and cover (where the title is given as "History of India") still bright. Wear at tips of spine. Binding solid.
