No other date or printing is stated. 216 pages; 16 chapters; b & w illustrations. The bottom edge of the spine strip is a little frayed; the top edge is thinned, as is 3/4 in. of the bottom edge of the front board. The top, front corners of the boards are a little bumped. A 1/16 in. place is threadbare on the top edge of the back board. The text block ends are tanned. The bottom edge of the back FEP has two 1/8 in. chips; the back pastedown is chipped and thinned along the top and bottom ends (maybe by an insect). DJ: price clipped; green is faded from the spine panel; water stain and chips are along the top and bottom edges of the spine panel; back panel and flaps have tanned; water stain is on one corner of the back panel; flaps' folds are foxed.
