A tightly-bound, clean copy and in overall vgc with no additional marks to the aforementioned library stamps. The front cover lamination has surface wrinkles which do not affect the cover itself. Despite the library stamps, this is a nice copy. Small 8vo.

A good reading copy of an uncommon and sought after guide recording the first ascents of many classic lines, including London Wall, Great Slab, Quietus etc. [Neate Q141]. The copy belonged to 60s gritstone hard man Pat Fearnehough, with his name and drawing of ice axe to FFE, and occasional comments and additions in text ('Jankers Groove - Super Direct. - D.D.Whillans. Instead of traversing to the right from Jankers Crack, ascend the bulge directly beow the groove on jammed fists / Severe if you can do it') . Fearnehough died on expedition to Latok II in 1978. Association Copy.
