Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible crushing to spine ends. Heavy tanning to spine and edges. Notable marks to boards. Grubby boards. Textblock is shaky.

Fair crushing to spine ends and light rubbing to spine.

Minor foxing and tanning to pages. Much more prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking and staining to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild sunning and scuffing overall. Spine has similar sunning with soft crushing to ends. Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

He left no signs of his ownership but they are distinguished by their excellent bright condition in a genre that often shows up rather wornÉhe was known to constantly upgrade his collection. Only 5 copies found at WorldCat (OCLC) the worldÕs largest library catalogue. No date, WorldCat suggests 1907. Slight rubbing, otherwise very good indeed.
