Paperback. Condición: Very Good. Book has light wear to the edges and corners with light rubbing and smudging to the covers. A former owner's name is stamped at the top and bottom of the text block and there is light creasing to the spine. A piece of wax paper is inexplicably mounted to the back inside cover. Aside from the items listed this is a very good copy that remains well-bound with bright pages that are crisp and unmarked.

Hardcover. Condición: Good. Hardcover. Blue cloth over boards with gold stamping on front cover and spine. No publication date that I can see, likely early 1900s. 329 pages. In good condition. Covers are quite clean, though cloth and lettering on spine appear sun faded, a bit difficult to read stamping now. Stamping on front cover remains bright and clear. Some foxing along fore edge, but pages themselves are free of foxing or foreign marks. A number of illustrations throughout. Binding remains secure. A good, clean copy overall, with little shelf-wear.

A critical and biographical look at the various notable illustrators working in the Montmartre section of Paris, providing critical commentary on their work, as well as discussing publication in which their work appeared, biographical details, etc. This includes chapters on A. Steinlen, P. Balluriau, Toulouse Lautrec, F. Vallotton, L. Morin, C. Huard, J. Wely and others. GOOD condition. Some browning to the cloth, with minor soiling. Several small areas of staining to the rear cover. Spine browned. Light scuffing along the extremities. Faint foxing and general browning to the endpapers and text throughout. Owner's inscription present. Very minor bowing to the covers.
