The text was composed and printed by Eduardo Audivert in 14pt. Bodoni in red. Page size: 12-3/4 inches x 10 inches, 16pp. Bound: loose in original gray wrappers printed in red with author, title, artist, publisher and date, fine. Xul Solar was the adopted name of Oscar Schulz Solari (1887-1963) Argentian painter, sculptor, writer and inventor of imaginary languages was closely associated with Jorge Luis Borges. His concerns and aesthetic impulses were always with the avant garde: his art and writings reflect a concern with games, language linking numbers and visual arts, expressionist poetry and Eastern philosophy.
